Paul Gallois

Paul Gallois, Specialist, Caput of European Furniture, has been based in London since 2015 afterward he worked as a European Decorative Arts specialist in Christie's New York in 2014. He runs the European Furniture and Works of Fine art sales in Christie's King Street while supporting the international team with research and expertise on masterpieces of European Furniture. Paul Gallois achieved a Law degree from the University Panthéon-Assas and also holds a caste in the History of Art from the Sorbonne.

Peter Horwood

Peter joined Christie's Furniture department in 1996 and has worked on countless auction sales at Southward Kensington and Rex Street including noble and country firm sales and English language and European corporate collections. Highlights include cataloguing the contents of Tyntesfield, Somerset, caused for the Nation in June 2002 by the National Trust, furniture from the Banking concern of England in 2004, the superb drove of furniture and works of art of the tardily Simon Sainsbury sold June 2008 which realised a total of £16,512,000, and The Spencer House sale in July 2010. Peter is Head of sale for The English Collector held twice yearly and catalogues The Exceptional Sale.

Harry Williams-Bulkeley

Harry Williams-Bulkeley joined Christie'southward in 1990 and has worked on many of the greatest collections to announced at auction in the last 20 years. He has catalogued and researched English, French and other European silver for sale in London, Geneva and Paris. He became head of silver at Christie'southward King Street in 1996 and has worked on many of the landmark silvery sales of the last fifteen years. He became European Head of Department in 2010.

He has worked on many single possessor collections and is very aware of the importance of provenance and history when offer corking silver for sale. He has a particular interest in and cognition of British and European history and heraldry.

In his role as European Caput of Department he coordinated the marketing and sale strategy of the Benson Drove, working very closely with his colleagues in Paris, London and New York to ensure the spoons are presented to the highest standard, marketed in the well-nigh effective manner and promoted to the widest possible audience of potential buyers.

Isabelle Cartier-Stone

Matilda Burn

Matilda Burn graduated from the Academy of Warwick (Showtime Class) with a BA in Art History, and she so gained an MA in Fine art History at the Courtauld Institute, London. Between 2010 and 2011 Matilda worked equally a cataloguer in the Sir John Soane Museum, principally cataloguing drawings, before joining Christie's in 2011. Matilda began her career at Christie'due south in the House Sales department, and joined the London Ceramics and Drinking glass department in 2012 as a specialist, covering British and European ceramics and glass dating from the medieval period through to circa 1900.
